Sac Lunch CD is done!

On Friday, I picked up the final audio masters for the upcoming Sac Lunch CD. I think it sounds awesome, and I hope y’all do, too. The CD isn’t ready for sale yet—we still have to create the artwork (hurry up, A-bex) and then send it off for duplication. But what you hear below is how it’ll actually sound. :)

N.B. For optimum sound quality, these are .WAV files, so they’re pretty large; about 40-50 MB each.

  1. Bringin’ It Raw
  2. Brown Paper Bags
  3. MC Story
  4. Concrete Jungle
  5. Moanin’
  6. Ride To The Music
  7. Booty Music
  8. Fast Horns
  9. Lesson Learned
  10. New Kid
  11. Contract
  12. One More Time
  13. Three Part

dude, can you make those in to mp3s somehow? those .wavs represent 1/3 of my free disk space, plus downloading them’s a bitch and i’m only gonna delete them when i buy the cd ;-)

Sure I could, of course. But much of the reason for posting these at all is to let the out-of-town Sac Lunch members hear it before it goes to press, as it were. We still have the opportunity to make some minor revisions to the sound quality, so in order to do that, we have to have an accurate idea of the current sound.

But feel free to convert the WAVs to MP3s on your own (iTunes will do this; I imagine some other programs will as well). Or burn the WAVs to a CD and then delete them off your hard drive.

well i’m impressed. my favorite tracks are brown paper bags, fast horns, and moanin. plus, between your cd and a friend’s band’s cd tht i just got and some old stuff i have, i have enough to throw together a mix made entirely of music by people i know. i’ll throw it in the pool room where i have two other mixes and fame will start growing. get ready for fame!
